Why Legacora
What Sets a Legacora Session Apart
There is no shortage of ways to organise documents on your own. What Legacora offers is a structured, guided, and entirely comfortable process — with a printed record to show for it at the end.

Six Reasons Families Choose Legacora
A Proven Organisational System
The Legacora folder methodology is consistent across every session, developed through hands-on work with Malaysian family records.
Physical Printed Deliverables
Every session ends with a printed index, binder, or handbook — not just digital notes. You leave with something in hand.
Unhurried Pacing
Sessions proceed at your pace. There is no rush, no pressure to finish quickly, and no expectation that everything is sorted in a single afternoon.
Full Discretion
Documents remain at your premises at all times. Nothing is photographed, copied, or taken away. What you share in a session stays private.
Works for Families, Not Just Individuals
The workshop and programme formats bring multiple family members into the process — a shared effort rather than a task left to one person.
Clear, Honest Scope
We are document organisers. We communicate clearly that our work is informational and organisational — not legal, financial, or advisory in any way.

Each Benefit, Explained
Expertise
Facilitators Who Know Records Work
Our facilitators bring hands-on experience in domestic records management — not a general administrative background. They have worked with birth certificates, property deeds, insurance schedules, family correspondence, and household keepsakes across a wide range of family circumstances in Johor.
- Trained in the Legacora labelling methodology
- Experience across multi-generational family records
- Familiar with Malaysian household document types
Process
A System Built for Home Archives
The Legacora folder methodology adapts archival practice for the home. Each document category has a designated folder type, a label convention, and a corresponding entry in the printed index. The system is simple enough to maintain independently after the session ends.
- Logical category hierarchy suited to personal records
- Consistent labelling across all folder types
- Index designed for easy handover to other family members
Service
Calm, Personal Attention Throughout
Every Legacora session is conducted by a named facilitator who communicates directly with the household, prepares the materials in advance, and follows up after the session to confirm the index is accurate. You are not passed between staff members or given a generic checklist to work through alone.
- Named facilitator from first contact to completion
- Pre-session material preparation included
- Follow-up available after each session
Value
Transparent, All-Inclusive Pricing
Our prices include the session time, printed materials, folder and label sets, and any binders or handbooks produced. There are no additional charges for materials, travel within Johor Bahru, or follow-up correspondence. What is quoted is what is charged.
- RM 510 for Personal Records Visit — all materials included
- RM 1,250 for Heritage Reference Workshop — group pricing
- RM 4,400 for the full Heritage Records Programme
Results
A Reference That Lasts Beyond the Session
The goal of every Legacora service is a family reference that works without us. Whether it is a simple printed index after a Personal Records Visit or a full heritage handbook at the end of a multi-session programme, the output is designed to stand independently — readable, clear, and useful for years ahead.
- Printed outputs require no ongoing subscription or access
- Heritage handbook includes guidance for future updates
- Index format is simple enough for any family member to follow
How We Differ
Legacora vs. Going It Alone

What Only We Offer
Distinctive Features of the Legacora Approach
The Legacora Folder Methodology
Our proprietary labelling and folder system is adapted for domestic records in a Malaysian context — covering common document categories, naming conventions familiar to local families, and a hierarchy that mirrors how households typically store things.
The Heritage Handbook Format
No other local document service produces a printed, bound heritage handbook as a standard deliverable. The handbook gives families a lasting, shareable reference — formatted to be passed between family members and updated over time.
Multi-Week Programme Design
The Heritage Records Programme is intentionally spread across several weeks. This allows families to gather additional documents between sessions, discuss priorities together, and avoid the fatigue of doing everything in a single sitting.
Home Visit Option
All services can be conducted at your home. There is no need to transport documents to an office. The facilitator comes to you, works in the environment where your records actually live, and leaves without taking anything with them.
